You don't have to travel all the way to Thailand to enjoy homemade Thai iced tea! Just a few ingredients and you can feel the exotic vibes right at home. Thais use condensed milk. However, we replaced it with coconut milk, which is not only vegan but also lighter and less sweet. For sweetness, you can use date syrup!
So what is the best way to prepare Thai iced tea?
1. In a large part of the strainer, we add quality loose black tea and close it with a smaller part of the strainer.
2. Directly into the glass bottle GoodGlass, we place the spice mixture.
3. We snap the strainer into the GoodGlass, pour in boiling water, and let it steep for about 8-10 minutes.
4. Then we remove the strainer and let the infusion cool in the fridge.
5. Just before serving, we add a few ice cubes and coconut milk to taste. How fantastic!
