You don't have to travel all the way to Thailand to enjoy homemade Thai iced tea! Just a few ingredients and you can feel the exotic right at home. Thais use condensed milk. However, we replaced it with coconut, which is not only vegan but also not as heavy and sweet. You can use date syrup for sweetening!
So what is the best way to prepare Thai iced tea?
1. We pour high-quality loose black tea into the larger part of the strainer and close it with the smaller part of the strainer.
2. We directly place a mixture of spices into glass bottles GoodGlass.
3. We snap the filter into the GoodGlass, pour boiling water over it, and let it steep for about 8-10 minutes.
4. Then we remove the strainer and let the infusion cool in the fridge.
5. Just before serving, add a few ice cubes and coconut milk to taste. Fantasy!
