Why did we create The Gratitude Journal?

We created this journal because practicing gratitude genuinely improved our lives, and we wanted others to experience this too. Over the years, we've tried many journals, but none felt quite right, so we decided to create our own.

Our goal was to design something simple, thoughtful, and supportive, a journal we would truly love to use every day. Now we're excited to share it with you, and we honestly far exceeded our own expectations of ourselves.
Now we genuinly hope it makes as meaningful a difference in your life as it has in ours.

Our hope is that this journal becomes a comforting daily ritual, helping you feel happier, calmer, and more connected to your life.

  • who is behind the project?

    Hello,
    My name is Johan Nilsson, I'm from a small town in northern Sweden. I am the founder of the GoodWays brand, which is a way for me to live my purpose of making the world a slightly better place.

    Practicing gratitude has had an immense positive impact on my life, but no journal on the market resonated with me, so I decided to create my own both for myself, and for those who might need it. From the moment I had the idea, I just knew that it was something I had to do.

    Creating the Gratitude Journal has been an interesting journey for me full of learning. So many conversations with experts and friends about their experiences with practicing gratitude and its positive impact on their daily lives were so inspiring that they only reinforced my belief in the impact this journal can have.

    Countless people contributed great ideas to it, leaving their mark in this book. I believe that thanks to the amazing community that is forming around GoodWays, we can truly make a difference.
